Egor Eroshenko, a recent Russian professional golfer, has secured his spot for a PGA TOUR debut at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, only months into his pro career.
Eroshenko clinched one of four available slots in the Championship’s Monday qualifier, finishing first with a 6-under 66 at ChampionsGate’s International Course in Orlando. Also joining him at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda, are Luke Schniederjans, Tyler Collet, and Ethan Cairns, who each posted a score of 5-under 67.
The qualifier, held on October 21, took place just 40 miles from Eroshenko’s alma mater, the University of Central Florida, where he recently graduated after four years. Already making his mark, he claimed his first Minor League Golf Tour win at the Westchester CC 2-Day in Florida last month, outperforming seasoned pros. Now, with his PGA TOUR debut at hand, Eroshenko aims to continue his success on a bigger stage.
