Trademark Dispute Arises Over Tiger Woods’ Iconic Sunday Red Logo

Together with TaylorMade Golf, Tiger Woods unveiled Sun Day Red, his new line of golf apparel, in May. The number of major titles that Woods has won throughout his career is represented by the logo, which features a leaping tiger with 15 stripes.

In a lighthearted commentary on the logo’s significance, Woods said, “My goal is to ruin the logo,” during an appearance on Carson Daly’s “Today Show.” I will continue to ruin it because I want to keep winning majors.”

But a trademark dispute has emerged regarding this logo.
