Crimson Tide bounces back strong after a tough loss last week.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 15 Alabama dominated on their home turf Saturday, powering past No. 21 Missouri with a resounding 34-0 win at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Crimson Tide delivered one of its most complete performances of the season, buoyed by a relentless defense that held Missouri scoreless for the second game in a row and forced three interceptions against backup quarterback Drew Pyne.
Offensively, Alabama took some time to find its rhythm, settling for field goals on its first few drives before capping off the half with a touchdown to secure a 13-0 lead. After halftime, they maintained control, scoring again early in the third quarter to put the game out of Missouri’s reach.
Quarterback Jalen Milroe overcame a slow start, completing 16 of 26 passes for 215 yards and contributing with 50 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Alabama’s rushing game also shined with Justice Haynes and Jam Miller combining for three touchdowns. Haynes led with 79 yards on eight carries, while Miller added 48 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries.
