Bruno Fernandes’ interview with Sky Sports cut short by Erik ten Hag as he was discussing future

Bruno Fernandes’ post-match interview with Sky Sports following Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Newcastle was cut short by Erik ten Hag as he addressed his future.

The Portuguese midfielder, who has been one of United‘s shining lights in what has been a poor campaign, returned to the starting line-up for their final home game of the 2023/24 season.

And he was awarded the Player of the Match award, creating five chances and 11 key passes into the final third – a typically creative display from the 29-year-old.

Having played such a crucial role for United in recent months, a number of clubs are lining up to sign the midfielder ahead of the summer window, according to reports.

A report from the Manchester Evening Newssuggests Fernandes is ‘attracting interest’ from Bayern Munich and Inter Milan. In fact, Cristiano Ronaldo recently urged his Portugal teammate to join Al Nassr.
