Confirmed line-ups: Bournemouth vs United

Supporters of Manchester United are looking for a strong showing and a positive outcome as they head to Bournemouth this afternoon.

Erik ten Hag will want to maintain the hazy chances of a top four finish this afternoon after United’s painful 2-2 draw with Liverpool last weekend, where the scousers were given a controversial penalty after United had been hammered for the first half and then mounted a great comeback in the second half.

It’s tight pickings for United at the back with Raphael Varane sidelined until nearly the end of the season and Jonny Evans missing this afternoon. In the middle of United’s defense, though, Harry Maguire and Willy Kambwala will be looking to build on their strong performance from the previous weekend.

Bournemouth are coming in to this game on the back of a good run of home form, winning their last three fixtures in a row.

Onana, Dalot, Kambwala, Maguire, Wan-Bissaka, Casemiro, Mainoo, Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford, Hojlund.

Subs: Bayindir, Amass, O’Gunneye, Amad, Amrabat, Eriksen, Mount, Forson, Wheatley.

Bournemouth: Neto, Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kerkez; Cook, Christie; Sinisterra, Kluivert, Ouattara; Solanke.
