Before the Premier League match at Bournemouth, Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has given an update on the status of two players’ injuries.

Last Saturday at Old Trafford, the Red Devils and Liverpool fought to a 2-2 draw. Despite being vastly outmatched in the first half, they responded brilliantly.

The team might have prevailed if Aaron Wan-Bissaka hadn’t given up a penalty.

Marcus Rashford trained yesterday, the manager disclosed during today’s press conference. After today’s session, the star with a rating of €60 million will be evaluated once again.

Regarding the availability of Scott McTominay, the Dutchman had less optimism. Ten Hag stated that the Scot is highly unlikely to play in the match due to a knee injury he sustained at Chelsea.

He told “Rashy trained yesterday and [we will] see how he recovered from it today. We will have training again today and then we will make a decision on it.”

“Scott? I don’t think so. We have training, so we have a day and he will push. He is so keen to be part of it tomorrow, but I think it is very questioning.”

United needs to make a significant improvement over the next seven games in order to make it into the Champions League the following season, as they are now 11 points outside of the top four.

Whatever the case, the Red Devils must conclude the campaign with a bang. They have the opportunity to start winning a lot to cheer up the supporters.

When the team plays the Cherries tomorrow, they’ll be looking to exact revenge for a 3-0 loss they suffered at Old Trafford.

Andoni Iraola’s team is now on a three-match winning streak at Vitality Stadium, having scored seven goals during that stretch, so the players will need to perform at their highest level.
