I prefer to join Man united – Man united receive huge boost as Zinedine Zidane rules out Bayern Munich move amid seriousMan United links

The Dutchman’s future at Old Trafford remains uncertain after a disastrous second season in charge and with INEOS tearing the club from the up downwards since Sir Jim Ratcliffe entered the building.

Zidane has also been reported as a “dream” manager for Ratcliffe and INEOS, but there remains doubt over a potential move to England.

Zidane rules out Bayern move
Speaking to Sky Sports this week, Zidane was asked his prediction for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final clash and replied: “Hopefully [Real] Madrid. But it’s going to be a difficult game.”

Then, when questioned whether he would become Bayern Munich’s manager in the future, Zidane said, “No. I’m going to watch the game.”

Is United on the cards?
While a move to the Bundesliga is off the cards, it doesn’t necessarily mean Old Trafford is in Zidane’s future.

There are other managers with stronger links to the job than the Frenchman. However, things can change quickly in football, and it would be unlikely that INEOS would say no to the manager who won the three-peat in the Champions League with Madrid.

Tuchel, the current Bayern manager, appears to be the most likely option for United right now if Ten Hag departs
