Man Utd make ‘contact’ with Man City academy graduate as wing-back is eyed

This weekend, Manchester United will return to play as they travel to AFC Bournemouth on the road. The team led by Erik ten Hag is presently sixth in the Premier League standings.

Last time out, they drew 2-2 at home against Liverpool, with goals from Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo. Here are some of the most recent rumors and news from Old Trafford.

Defender on radar

Tosin Adarabioyo, a former defender for Manchester City, is a target for United in a summer transfer to Fulham. The Red Devils are attempting to entice the player back up north during the upcoming transfer window, and they have reportedly already established “contact” with his club, according to a report by TEAMtalk.

But Tottenham Hotspur, under Ange Postecoglou, is also rumored to be in the running as they look for defensive reinforcements. The 26-year-old Adarabioyo’s contract expires at the end of June, and as he hasn’t signed an extension yet, he will currently become a free agent.

Wing-back targeted

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, a winger for United, is rumored to be leaving to join Inter Milan at the end of the current season. The Serie A powerhouses are reportedly admirers of the former England youth international and are keeping an eye on his position, according to Gazzetta dello Sport (via FcInterNews).

Wan-Bissaka, 26, progressed through Crystal Palace’s academy system before signing for the Red Devils in 2019. Although he has now made 181 appearances for his current club in all competitions—21 of which have come this season—his long-term future is uncertain.
