Sunday Morning deal: Manchester United set to overcome Arsenal to the signing of £50m defender after Leny Yoro injury blow, player has agreed verbally to join awaiting for Medical on Monday

Manchester United have been after Noussair Mazraoui for weeks but his signing depends on the departure of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

According to MEN today, a deal for the Bayern Munich right back is contingent on the intended sale of the English defender to the Hammers.

As per Football Insider, Man Utd and West Ham are now close to agreeing a deal to complete the transfer of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Red Devils have been looking for a figure of £15m, on the other hand, the London side value him at £10m.

Now, the news source have mentioned that an agreement is close to being reached for a figure of £12m.

The sale of Wan-Bissaka will propel the signing of Mazraoui for Man Utd, who have already agreed personal terms of a contract with the Moroccan international.

AWB has proved to be a solid fullback for the Red Devils but his support in the attacking third is almost negligible.

Bayern value the Atlas Lions star at around £25m and he would be an upgrade on AWB, mainly in terms of improving the offense.

The 26-year-old was a key part of the Morocco squad that earned fourth place at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar two years ago.

Last term, he only started 15 games in the Bundesliga and spent a considerable time on the treatment table.

Man Utd’s last PL campaign was disastrous after key players suffered injuries on regular basis. Should they now sign another injury prone player like Mazraoui?
