Xabi Alonso wants big-money United star at Leverkusen, player ready to move to Bundesliga – report

Rasmus Hojlund has apparently caught the attention of multiple Bundesliga teams, despite facing challenges at Manchester United.

As the international break approaches, Hojlund can finally relax, having ended his 21-match goal drought for United with a goal against Leicester City on Sunday.

Nevertheless, doubts persist regarding his ability to spearhead the Red Devils’ attack, as the 22-year-old has only scored three goals in 24 Premier League matches this season.

According to TBR Football, Hojlund has a strong desire to remain at Manchester and realize his potential, yet he is also receptive to the idea of starting anew elsewhere.

Reports indicate that his agents are actively exploring possible summer destinations for the Danish player, who joined Old Trafford in a significant transfer from Atalanta two years ago.

His standing in Italy remains positive, with several Serie A teams, including Napoli and Juventus, monitoring his situation closely.

Additionally, three clubs from the Bundesliga are reportedly interested in acquiring Hojlund.

Bayer Leverkusen, under the management of Xabi Alonso, is keen on signing the Manchester United forward. Recently, The Peoples Person reported that Manchester United is considering a move for Leverkusen’s striker, Victor Boniface.

RB Leipzig is also keeping an eye on Hojlund as they prepare for the potential departure of Benjamin Sesko this summer, with the Slovenian attracting interest from various Premier League teams.

Furthermore, Mainz, who are in pursuit of a Champions League spot, have expressed interest in the United player.

While several Italian clubs are ready to offer him a chance, Hojlund is believed to be open to the possibility of a transfer to Germany.

Meanwhile, fellow striker Joshua Zirkzee has recently showcased his technical skills and versatility under Ruben Amorim, making it likely that United would consider selling Hojlund in favor of acquiring a more dependable goalscorer.
