The British Basketball Federation (BBF) is seeking new coaches and team managers for the upcoming 2025 FIBA Youth EuroBasket campaigns. With a focus on developing young talent and strengthening the future of British basketball, these positions are key to leading Great Britain’s under-16 and under-18 boys’ and girls’ teams.
Successful candidates for head and assistant coaching roles will be expected to bring experience and a passion for nurturing young talent, along with a strong understanding of the game and the unique demands of international competition. Coaches will lead on-court training and in-game tactics, ensuring that players are not only improving individually but are also coming together as cohesive, competitive teams representing GB on the European stage.
Team managers will play an equally important role, handling logistical preparations, ensuring team welfare, and working closely with coaches to create an environment where players can thrive. This role will require excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to supporting the players and coaching staff.
The BBF aims to fill these roles with individuals who are committed to the long-term growth of British basketball. Those selected will have the opportunity to work within an elite setup, guiding the next generation of British basketball talent through one of Europe’s most prestigious youth competitions.
Applications are now open for those who meet the qualifications and are ready to contribute to the continued rise of basketball in Great Britain. The positions are an incredible chance to make a lasting impact on the sport and to play a part in building a legacy for GB’s young athletes.
