Warriors Face Potential Lineup Changes as Curry and Green Are Listed Questionable; Jazz Seek First Win of the Season

Stephen Curry is dealing with a right hip contusion, while Draymond Green is nursing a left knee contusion, both leaving their status for the game in doubt. Additionally, De’Anthony Melton is questionable due to a chest injury.

Curry’s inclusion on the injury report came as a surprise on Thursday, after he scored 17 points in the Warriors’ season-opening 139-104 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers. Green also contributed in that game, logging 20 minutes with eight points and six rebounds.

Despite the Memphis Grizzlies missing Jaren Jackson Jr. in their recent matchup, the Jazz couldn’t capitalize, falling 126-124 in their home opener. Lauri Markkanen led all scorers with 35 points on 9-for-15 shooting.

Isaiah Collier and Johnny Juzang were both absent for the Jazz. Collier is expected to return to on-court activities in 10 days, while no timetable has been set for Juzang’s return.

With the Warriors potentially missing their top stars, the Jazz enter the game as just 2.5-point underdogs. The game tips off at 7:30 PM MT at the Delta Center.
